Chai Break – This place has failed to disappoint me. I have had many experiments by them on food, all thumbs up to the team for their excellence. One of my favorite hangout place in Bhubaneswar. I like this outlet's ambiance better than the one in Patia.

The purpose of Chai Break was clear when two school friends from St. James, Kolkata decided to join hands to create something unique in THE F&B segment in 2010.
To become synonymous with the experience of 'taking a break'.
Armed with an MBA degree from Amity Business School, Noida, Anirudh Poddar and Aditya Ladsaria, a student of St. Xavier's College, started their baby steps in the F&B industry with a 50 sq. ft. kiosk that specialized in serving different varieties of tea and snacks. They wish to tap into that very space one steps into when one chooses to take time off.
However, the ever-changing trends and likes of the youth required much more to please them. A cup of steaming tea wasn't enough. The requirement for 'chai + something else' was needed. Quickly realizing this attitude amongst people, the duo opened up Kolkata's one-of-a-kind hot spot, Chai Break Cafe at Chowringhee in November 2011.
A blockbuster hit amongst youngsters, college-goers, young working professionals, Chai Break has strengthened its presence with 11 outlets, thronging the cities of Kolkata, Bhubaneswar & Durgapur, while charming their favorite goers with a variety of 'chai' & a bouquet of cuisines such as Italian, Chinese, Thai & Indian.
Starting on with appetizer, I would list down some of the best out of its menu.
Chef’s Special Garlic Bread – It is one of my compulsory orders when I visit this place. The amazing part is the Dip that comes along with it. The dip is full of cheese and veggies.
Mix Sauce Risotto – It serves the best of risotto in the town, layered with the right amount of cheese and addition of a correct amount of veggies.
Spaghetti Aglio Olio, Cheese Fondue, Chilli Garlic Noodles, Biryani, Potato Wedges, Mix Italian Bruschetta, Mexican wrap and items in tandoor are a must try.
If you are in a mood to have a pure Indian dine in. Get your table for Dal makhni, Pindi chole, Paneer Punjabi and Onion Kulcha. (Biryani, if one prefers to)
Coming down to Sips – Lemon/Raspberry Ice Tea, Oreo Shake, Brownie Shake, Kit kat Shake, Royal Tea, Manchow Soup, Lemon Coriander Soup
If you are into hookah, ask them for a teen chillum with an ice bucket. Here, you can select 3 flavors of your choice and rest is upon them to make it the best for you.
Service is very nice and the servers provide good suggestion when one is confused about what to order.
